As a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA), Dr. Wright holds the highest credential available in the field of veterinary anesthesiology. In order to reach this level of knowledge and skill, candidates must undergo several years of dedicated residency training and must prove competency in the areas of anesthesia and analgesia as well as successfully complete a rigorous examination process.
Dr. Wright received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, and she completed her residency in anesthesiology and critical patient care at University of California, Davis. She has been ACVAA board certified in veterinary anesthesiology since 2000.
